Victories and Challenges
Quote from Dawn Riordan on May 1, 2025, 6:01 pmI have only been at Mallard Creek for two days and I would like to share some observations in the victory and challenge areas. The Victories are that Dr. Dakota and Dr. Mike have a great rapport with their patients. It's obvious that the patients feel valued and know they are getting individualized treatment. They also love Miss Betty 🙂 who brings another victory with her bright smile and her interpretation skills. Dr. Kayla will bring more victories to the clinic especially with her Webster certification as I know we get many inquiries about that. Having a female doctor at this location is essential due to the clientele.
One of the challenges I have noticed over the past two days is that it is way to quiet in the morning and seems to pick up at the 5-7pm hour. That only poses a problem when there are many walk-in RP and NP and worsens when only one doc. I have witnessed many people leave due to the wait.
One of the other challenges is the lack of willingness on behalf of the pts to give Google Reviews. Many times the pts are in a huge rush and do not want to be bothered filling out anything. I wonder if we offered an incentive if that would help?
We also uncovered the phone issue so maybe that will help propel them in the right direction..
The telephone has an answering system and it seems as none of the WC's that work here know how to use it as there were over 40 messages on it. I am learning how to use it myself and am willing to help moving forward.
